Central Wholesale Electrical Distributors, Inc. is seeking a technical sales professional to sell Electrical, Control and Automation products to End Users, OEM/Panelbuilders, and Contractors.
Key duties and responsibilities of this position are:
• Sales calls to existing and prospective accounts to identify sales opportunities
• Process and follow-up on quotes, Special Pricing Agreements, and requests for samples
• Design, applications, and start-up support
• Organize and conduct customer training seminars and classes
• Work with Outside Sales and Marketing Manager to coordinate key customer activities
• Document activities and opportunities on a monthly basis
To be successful in this position, a candidate must have the following attributes:
• Excellent organization, analysis, and communication skills
• An outgoing personality, giving customer service top priority
• An understanding of Industrial Networks (wired and wireless), HMI, SCADA, and Programming Software
The customer base served in this geographic territory participate in relatively stable segments of the economy and include Food Production/Harvest/ Processing, Water/Wastewater Treatment, and Quarrying.
The individual in this position will work to influence the specification and purchase of equipment in all areas of the customer firms, including Maintenance, Engineering, and Executive/Owners.
Central Wholesale has 8 sales locations in central and northern California , and has served a wide variety of customers with products for the distribution, control, and use of energy for over 30 years.
